More than 23,000 Miami-Dade Payroll Jobs added from March 2016 to 2017

(April 21, 2017 – Miami, FL) Miami-Dade experienced a healthy 2 percent job growth or 23,400 payroll jobs from March 2016 to March 2017 across industries with Education and Health Services (8,600) and Professional and Business Services (5,000) leading, according to state figures released Friday.

Miami-Dade Beacon Council Announces New President & CEO

(Miami, FL - April 13, 2017) - The Miami-Dade Beacon Council announces economic development veteran Michael A. Finney to be the organization's new President & CEO effective June 1st. Finney, who has dedicated his 30+ year career to job creation and economic development, becomes the organization's fifth president in its 32-year history as Miami-Dade County's official economic development organization.
