Small businesses are the lifeblood of Miami-Dade County representing a large portion of the local  economy. Miami’s vibrant multicultural community is filled with many opportunites for those with an entrepreneurial spirit. The Small Business Committee’s mission is to support the needs of small businesses in our community by assisting with their expansion and recruiting new entrepreneurs and business owners through  programs designed to facilitate connections, access to capital and other needed resources. The Small Business Resource Guide is a valuable tool for growing businesses.

Committee Goals:

1) Engagement – Working closely with our small business community, serving as a conduit for our small businesses to access technical assistance and funding resources that can stimulate their business growth.

2) Job Creation – The engagement noted earlier will subsequently lead to job creation in our community.

3) Connect – Create opportunities for businesses to connect with other businesses and foster growth. Job Creation section – add a period at the end of the sentence.
