Gonzalez is helping lead the effort to establish Miami as the technology hub of the Americas. He has been engaged in the South Florida technology industry for over 10 years, previously serving in leadership capacities for both the Technology Foundation of the Americas and Terremark Worldwide.
In 2014, Gonzalez was recognized by the Miami Herald as one of Miami’s 20 Under 40 leaders in the community. He is a member of the Orange Bowl Committee and serves on the Boards of Directors of The Beacon Council, the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and Camillus House.

Bob McFarlin is the General Manager of the Miami Herald, el Nuevo Herald and the Bradenton Herald. He also oversees the technology division for The McClatchy Company as the Senior Director of Infrastructure and Security. The McClatchy Company is the parent company of the Miami Herald, el Nuevo Herald and 29 other markets throughout the US.
McFarlin has been with the organization since 1993 where he began at The Sun News in Myrtle Beach, SC. In 1995, he transferred to Knight Ridder Corporate in Miami to build out the centralized financial organization. While most of his professional career has been in the areas of technology and security, McFarlin also serves as a member of the senior leadership team for the corporation. McFarlin’s experience in security stems from his work with various law enforcement agencies across the nation including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Secret Service on various cases; one of which required him to testify on behalf of the U.S. Attorney’s office. He also partnered with the International Olympic Committee to set up and run the operations for the 2006 and 2008 Olympic bureaus onsite for Knight Ridder and McClatchy.
McFarlin is an avid University of Miami Hurricane fan and baseball season ticket holder. He lives in Miami with his wife Martii and their three children; Helene, RJ and Jake.

Yolanda Cash Jackson is an experienced Government Law attorney who has established a strong reputation in the community for her leadership and commitment to civic, charitable, and professional organizations. She concentrates her practice in the area of Governmental Relations and has developed a proficiency in State government funding and appropriations. Ms. Jackson has excellent working relationships with the State’s leading elected officials and policymakers.
Ms. Jackson has successfully lobbied State funding for a number of private Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and School Boards. Most noteworthy is Ms. Jackson’s successful lobbying of State funding for Florida’s three private HBCUs, totaling nearly $15 million. Ms. Jackson’s diverse list of clients include Fortune 100 companies, gaming, and healthcare corporations. She has also successfully lobbied for appropriations on transportation related infrastructure matters.
Throughout her career, Ms. Jackson has lobbied and shepherded landmark legislation. Most recently, during the 2017 Legislative Session Ms. Jackson successfully lobbied for the inclusion of The Black Farmers and Agriculturists Association (BFAA) in the State’s recent medical marijuana law, which granted a designated license to the BFAA. This is noteworthy because it is believed to be the first of its kind in the Nation.

Basil Khalil is the Vice-president of Operations for FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division. Based in Miami, Khalil manages a diverse team of more than 1,400 operations personnel that work in the CCA Region. The CCA Region consists of 39 countries and territories located in the Caribbean and Central America.
Khalil joined FedEx Express in 1997 as a financial analyst for the Financial Planning and Analysis department, where he was quickly promoted for leading a corporatewide initiative to identify international growth strategies. As a manager, he was responsible for implementing the global cash handling and control system and rolling-out electronic invoicing in the Caribbean. As a managing director, Khalil had responsibility for all aspects of IT software development, telecommunications, and network engineering for the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) Division. Prior to his most recent role, Khalil had responsibilities for Planning, Engineering, Quality & Supply Chain for the Division.
He has been honored five times with the FedEx Five Star Award, the highest recognition bestowed on employees who demonstrate leadership, creativity, superior performance, and distinguished efforts in support of FedEx customers. In addition, Khalil was named to South Florida Business Journal’s 2013 prestigious list of ’40 Under 40’.
Prior to joining FedEx, he served as an operations analyst and senior systems analyst at Ryder Systems Inc. and later Ryder TRS.
Khalil earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami and is a current member of the University of Miami President’s Council. He serves on the Miami-Dade Beacon Council’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Alan R. Kleber, MCR is a Managing Director of JLL since December 2015. Alan serves as co-broker lead and co-tenant rep lead of our South Florida brokerage business. In this capacity, Alan oversees the day-to-day operations, collaborating with our other business lines and implementing the company’s growth strategy in the region. He will work closely with local market professionals to develop, transition and implement the Company’s full service offering with our corporate clients. Anthony De Yurre is an attorney in Bilzin Sumberg’s Land Development & Government Relations Group and a member of the Firm’s International Group, where he focuses his practice in the representation of real estate developers and investors. While Anthony’s emphasis is in land use, zoning, and governmental relations, his experience also includes acquisition financing, complex mixed-use and condominium development, construction financing, debt restructuring, and distressed asset workouts.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Vanderbilt University School of Law, Anthony became one of only 400 attorneys to also earn a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Real Property Development from the University of Miami.
