Bay Harbor Islands is separated from the mainland by Biscayne Bay. The Town consists of two islands: Broadview and Bay Harbor. The western island (Broadview) contains exclusively single-family homes, and the eastern island (Bay Harbor) contains a business district and multi-family housing.
