CoreNet Global Summit 2014 in Washington D.C.

The Beacon Council will be promoting Miami-Dade County in Washington, D.C., October 26th-29th during the 2014 CoreNet Global Summit. The CoreNet association is the world’s leading association for corporate real estate (CRE) and workplace professionals, service providers and economic developers.

CoreNet’s members and conferences are a key target for The Beacon Council and The Beacon Council team will be able to develop new contacts and build on current relationships through the various networking events during the summit.

BIO Florida 17th Annual Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, FL

The Beacon Council in partnership with members of Life Sciences South Florida (LSSF) will promote Miami-Dade County’s Life Sciences sector at BioFlorida’s 17th Annual Conference, a premier event for Florida’s bioscience community, to be held this year in Fort Lauderdale, FL, October 12-14, 2014. This year’s meeting will bring together 500+ professionals from across Florida, the Southeast and the nation to discuss major trends and issues, including topics related to product development, scientific research, business development, financing and public policy.

Atlanta Marketing Mission in Atlanta, GA

Larry Williams, President and CEO and James Kohnstamm, Vice President, The Beacon Council conducted a Miami-Dade Marketing Mission to Atlanta, GA March 11-13, 2014.  The Atlanta mission objectives were to meet with and update key corporate real estate site selectors who influence the location decisions of companies, worldwide. Over the day and a half mission a total of eight meetings were held including 13 corporate site selector consultants. The mission allowed The Beacon Council to develop new and re-establish contact with several highly influential site selectors and location consultants in the Atlanta area.
