Economic Development Manager for the City of North Miami
Sam Blatt is the Economic Development Manager for the City of North Miami, serving in that role since January 2016. Prior to his tenure in North Miami, Sam worked in economic development in the Dallas, Texas area.
In his role as Economic Development Manager in North Miami, Sam is responsible for overall management of day-to-day economic development operations for the City. As a leading millennial economic development professional in South Florida, Sam is focused on three main pillars of sustainable economic development: business retention and expansion, business attraction, and workforce development.
Working with City leadership and partner agencies such as the Community Redevelopment Agency, Sam has helped revitalize the City’s economic development efforts by attracting new business and project managing innovative and award-winning programs in North Miami.
Sam is a Vice-Chair with the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce, a member of the United Way of Miami-Dade’s Public Policy Committee, and Chair-elect of the Beacon Council’s New Leaders Taskforce. Please join me in welcoming, Sam Blatt.
