Alex joined Northern Trust in April 1995 as a Private Banker in the Brickell Office. Most recently, he was Managing Director for a Wealth Advisory Team as well as a personal Client Service Team in Miami, Florida.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, he spent his first five years of banking with First Union National Bank as a Commercial Lender and later he spent two years with Citibank as a Private Banker and a Branch Manager.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Miami.

He is a Certified Professional Wealth Advisor (CPWA), Series 7, 63.

Alex enjoys boating, skiing, golfing, playing tennis, and spending time with his family and friends.

As a Senior Vice President and Senior Market Executive of Miami-Dade County, he is responsible for sourcing and managing the investment management, trust and estate planning, private and business banking and financial consulting business for clients serviced by the Wealth Advisory and Private Client Advisory Teams in the Miami-Dade County market.

He has also been involved with several civic and not-for-profit organizations and is active as a trustee of the United Way of South Florida, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, University of Miami’s President’s Council and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
