Founded by pioneering aviator Glenn Curtis, Miami Springs has maintained its roots in aviation with many of its residents working in the growing multi-sector industry. The city has a close-knit small town family atmosphere and is adjacent to Miami International Airport. It is also home to the Miami Springs Golf & Country Club, site of the oldest golf course in Miami.
