With 2.7 million residents, Miami-Dade County’s population is larger than 16 US states. It is estimated that Miami-Dade will continue growing likely reaching 3 million in 2025. The Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-Palm Beach region known as the “tri-county” represents over 6 million residents and will reach close to 7 million by 2025.
