Yearim De Leon is the Economic Research & Innovation Fellow at the Miami-Dade Beacon Council. Graduating from Stanford University, he earned a B.A. in Political Science, and is currently in the Social Ventures program at Miami Dade College.
In the Research & Innovation track, Yearim supports economic competitiveness initiatives across innovation ecosystems, business expansion, and workforce development initiatives. His work centers on translating complex data and market signals into clear insights that guide business attraction, retention, and long-range economic strategy.
He is driven by the belief that Miami sits at the vanguard of inter-American commerce and at the intersection of many of the country’s most urgent challenges. For Yearim, contributing to economic development here means shaping solutions that strengthen a dynamic, diverse, and globally connected city, one whose success can model the future of urban opportunity in the Americas.
